Open Mic / Auditions held every Monday night from 7:45 p.m. - 10:45 p.m. Produced by Billy Shepard & Judi Jourdan at Dillon's Cabaret Cafe located in the heart of the theater district at 245 West 54th Street (between Broadway & 8th Avenue), New York, NY. We are looking for ambitious singers who have a song in their heart and a career on their mind. Talented newcomers and experienced singers are all welcome. All performance style types welcome, from Broadway to Rap to Opera. Opportunities to be booked and featured in a cabaret and music reviews in the theater or cabaret room. Opportunity to appear on our television show "How to Succeed in Show Business By Really Trying" shown on Time Warner Cable every Tuesday at Noon on channel 56. No call or appointment is needed. Just come in, sign up & sing! Pianist will be provided to you at no cost or bring your background tracks or CDs. The pianist transposes instantly in any key for you. Singer/Songwriters that are self-contained are always welcome! Opportunities for singers / acts / bands to be booked on a cabaret show and to be seen by industry executives and to be submitted to record companies, agencies, cruises and Atlantic City. Our discoveries have appeared with the legendary Quincy Jones, Las Vegas, Broadway, Atlantic City, Cruises, NBC's Today Show, Star Search, MTV, New York Post, Shepard & Jourdan television special on CBS, The Latin Music Awards at the Kennedy Center, We Are The Future Concert in Rome which appeared on MTV, CNN and Radio City Music Hall.
